The route is based on creative carpenters making wooden structures and handmade wood carvings. Poland also boasts many wooden monuments throughout the country.

Summary: Tour includes airport, apartment or hotel pick-ups. THIS TOUR REQUIRES A MINIMUM ORDER OF 2 PERSONS. Rates are per person, in US dollars and include tax. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-984-0571. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

While traveling through many parts of Poland, you can observe a wide diversity of styles and ornaments characteristic of local carpenters. The Malopolska Region (Small Poland Region) has some that should not be missed.

Tour Highlights:

~ A visit to Lanckorona - a 19th century village constructed entirely of wood, featuring 14th century ruins of a castle
~ See the Villa Tadeusz with Mr. Tadeusz - a well-known and eccentric wood-carver who has even made an entirely wooden automobile that actually drives
~ Stop in Wola Radziszowska to admire the 15th century church
~ Finish the tour in Wygielzow to visit an open air museum housing samples of a 19th century village and a 15th century church

This is a truly beautiful and inspiring region of Poland and so very close to Krakow.
